Community Advisory Council

The CAC brings together community members, organizational leaders, and healthcare representatives to provide direct input on policies, programs, and services that impact community health and well-being. By centering the voices of those we serve, the CAC helps ensure our care and outreach efforts are inclusive, responsive, and equitable.

Community Benefit

Through our diverse programs, Hartford HealthCare provides outreach and education. These programs benefit our communities and employees. Health screenings, nutrition counseling, and disease prevention services, are a few of the many needs addressed through Community Benefits at Hartford HealthCare.

Neighborhood Health

Our Neighborhood Health initiative is designed to bring more health prevention services and support directly to the people and communities we serve. It’s part of Hartford HealthCare’s larger commitment to help all people live their healthiest lives by providing more outreach and healthcare opportunities throughout Connecticut.

HHC_LGBTQ identifier St. Vincent’s Medical Center of Hartford HealthCare believes in the dignity and reverence of all humanity. Led by the ethical and religious directives of the Catholic Church, you are welcome with open arms and guided to the right place at the right time for your health needs.

Through Hartford HealthCare’s statewide integrated network, access and referral coordination to all other HHC hospitals are provided for procedures related to sterilization that may not be performed at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.

These procedures are provided at: Backus Hospital, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Hartford Hospital, Hospital of Central CT, Midstate Medical Center, and Windham Hospital.

In certain cases, such as emergencies, the procedures mentioned above can be performed at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
